Hi Everyone, I am writing my first blog after moving Mumbai from Bangalore. There is change of weather and it’s rainy season here in Mumbai.
You need to be well prepared with kids for rainy season, as their can be sudden change in weather. Regular rain for days and at times hot and humid. So their is always a confusion, you should dress them for hot and humid day or rainy day.
So here I am sharing some of my tips for dress up kids in rainy season.
1. Keep the necessary
When you are moving out be prepared as it’s totally unpredictable weather. It would be sunny or rainy, so it’s always better to keep all the necessary items with you. Raincoat, umbrella, rainboots and one small handtowel as if it starts raining you can protect them from getting wet and sick.
2. Keep them safe-
Always remember every season is full of fun and enjoyment if you are well prepared. Rains comes with lots of mosquitoes too, so it’s better to choose full pants for kids or use mosquitoes repellent while they enjoy the lovely weather.
3. Choose comfortable outfits.
Looking cool in every outfit is good, but it should be comfortable too. Kids love to run all over, jump,play and when they are wearing comfortable clothes they enjoy more. Thin and airy clothes that gives them freedom to play and they can wear raincoat easily on it when needed. Cottons Are one of the best choice.
4. Choose right shoes
Kids enjoy more when their outfit match with comfortable shoes and as per season. It’s always good to choose covered shoes as to avoid mud or water as kids love muddy puddles and the best is rain boots for Rainy season. As it’s easily washable and they can enjoy jumping in muddy puddles.
5. Let them enjoy
Every season has it’s own fun, let them be comfortable and enjoy every bit of it. Choose the right outfit and let them explore.

Loved the pink colored raincoats. Yes it is important to keep a raincoat or an umbrella along with while going out in this season. If you are fessed right…there is nothing compared to fun in rain! Great post.
Loved the way you have compiled everything so perfectly. Footwear seem to be the main concern during monsoons. Often kids play in the puddles and that tends to cause infections. So we need to take due care about their over all dressing. Great post. ?? Thanks for sharing.

Yes it’s important to get rainy shoes during rainy season and look after feet as they can catch infections!
It’s important to keep kids protected in the monsoon and yet find some style. I recently got some gumboots for my son! Because he wants to jump in muddy puddles – like Peppa Pig!
